When MilliporeSigma embarked on their new $286M Drug Safety Testing Facility, they sought PurePM to help manage the project. The facility reflects the growing demand for biosafety testing.
Invisible Sentinel, a molecular solutions company under the BioMérieux parent company, is expanding their facility into a new home within the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Their 23,400 SF new space within the 1201 Normandy Place multi-tenant lab building will consist of research and development labs, manufacturing, warehousing, a general office, and a central front-end reception.
Invisible Sentinel’s new facility will provide for expanded capacity, proper workflow, and showcase laboratories to highlight innovative new research and technologies within the development and manufacture of microbial detection tools.
As the owner’s representative, PurePM is managing all aspects of the project, including overseeing scope, design, budget and schedule, construction, and FF&E selection. Because BioMérieux will be the first tenant in the building, PurePM is assisting in direct coordination with the landlord as they develop their tenant MEP fit-out requirements to ensure they meet the client needs. Occupancy is targeted for the end of the second quarter of 2024 and is expected to support strategic future growth. During the occupancy phase, a full logistic plan will be developed to relocate existing lab operations into their new space, totaling more than $2M+ of equipment.
