As part of a $1B+ expansion initiative, Penn State Health (PSH) purchased a 28-acre greenfield site in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to construct a new community hospital.
PurePM is providing project management services for the new construction of The Mandy and Dennis Weinman Cancer Building at Sinai Hospital for LifeBridge Health. This $95 million, three-story, 125,000 SF facility will centralize outpatient cancer services for adults and children, providing advanced technology and a patient-centered environment.
The new building will feature 32 adult infusion bays, 16 adult exam spaces, seven pediatric infusion bays, six pediatric exam spaces, a renovated radiation oncology suite, a dedicated infusion pharmacy, and spaces for complementary care. Community spaces include a teaching kitchen, appearance center, resource center, meditation center, and a living room with views of the arboretum.
The building’s design emphasizes natural light and includes visitor workspaces, an art therapy space, and a playroom. It aims to enhance patient care and comfort, with a dedicated entrance and 100 parking spaces for convenience.
Currently under construction and expected to be completed in 2025, The Mandy and Dennis Weinman Cancer Building represents a significant investment in Sinai’s cancer services and expanded research efforts.
