Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music – Monmouth University

West Long Branch, NJ

The Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music at Monmouth University will create a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to preserving and celebrating the legacy of Bruce Springsteen and other American music legends. The center will provide opportunities to listen to oral histories, watch rare film footage, and explore significant moments in music history. Additionally, it will host intimate concerts, teacher workshops, symposia, lectures, film series, and various public and educational programs.

The Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music will be a 30,000 SF, two-story building constructed on a 4.72-acre lot, combining four existing lots into one. It will feature exhibition galleries, archive rooms, a 244-seat auditorium, and a gift shop. The design includes a natural wood tone exterior and a boardwalk platform walkway leading to the entrance. The facility will include a 195-space parking lot to accommodate visitors. As the project manager and owner’s representative, PurePM is engaged from the initial design through construction and final completion. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the project stays within budget and meets its timeline while maintaining the highest standards of quality. By collaborating closely with Monmouth University and all stakeholders, PurePM aims to deliver a world-class facility that will serve as a hub for music fans, scholars, and the public, preserving and promoting the rich legacy of Bruce Springsteen and American music.
