STEM Addition & Renovation - Roman Catholic High School

Philadelphia, PA

Roman Catholic High School is advancing a significant expansion and renovation to strengthen its academic and athletic programs, with PurePM providing full project management services. The project includes a new STEM-focused addition above existing street-level parking, along with modern classrooms, labs, robotics and maker spaces, and a new third-floor gymnasium.

The project also includes renovations to existing spaces, including the cafeteria, to improve student flow and day-to-day operations across the school.

Delivering the work within an active urban campus requires careful coordination around the academic calendar. Structural tie-ins, cafeteria reconfiguration, MEP upgrades, and other major activities are planned to minimize disruption to students and staff. The project also involves RACP funding requirements and approvals from the Archdiocese and the Vatican.

PurePM is supporting Roman Catholic High School through a Construction Manager at Risk approach paired with Target Value Design. Our team is coordinating the design and construction teams, managing key milestones, and using early bid packages to help protect the project schedule.

The expansion will provide updated STEM, athletic, and student spaces designed to support Roman Catholic High School’s academic mission for years to come.
