PurePM is providing owner’s representative and project management services for the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee Campus Student Center & Student Housing buildout project. As the first-ever student center and residence hall on the Sarasota-Manatee campus, this project represents a pivotal step in the university’s expansion efforts.
The residential housing component covers 68,000 SF and includes 70 traditional/double suites and 20 apartment style suites, providing a total of 200 beds for on-campus living. This modern residential space is designed to offer a comfortable and engaging living environment for students. The Student Center spans 32,000 SF and will serve as a vibrant hub of activity on campus. It features a gaming area, dining facility, lounge space, a bookstore, and a Grand Ballroom capable of hosting both university and public or private events. This multifaceted space is intended to foster student engagement and create a dynamic community atmosphere.
PurePM’s diligent project management guaranteed that the project remained on schedule and within budget. This facility sets a new benchmark for campus development and student life at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee, enhancing the overall student experience and supporting the university’s growth.
