Auditorium, Spa Room & Mezzanine Conversion, Saint Joseph Villa

Flourtown, PA

Saint Joseph’s Villa hired PurePM for its full suite of owner’s representation and project management services for the renovation of their existing Auditorium space, second floor Mezzanine, and Spa Room areas of their existing Senior Living Facility.

The scope of the project includes upgrades to all new finishes within the existing Auditorium, including adding a new Country Kitchen within the Auditorium. PurePM led the Villa through all AHJ’s including the DOH approval process of the Kitchen, ensuring all paperwork and documentation were submitted for proper approvals and on time inspections. PurePM also managed required asbestos abatement removal throughout each area of the project and coordinated infection prevention measures, including proper air monitoring protocols through qualified subcontractors. The Auditorium renovation also included all new AV upgrades, including a new projector screen, cameras, speakers, music, and stage lighting, as well as refinishing of the wood on the stage. The Mezzanine renovation included all new floors, ceiling, furnishings, additional low voltage throughout the space, and a new HVAC unit. PurePM team also assisted the Villa in obtaining a PECO rebate incentive for including efficient HVAC design implementation within the new Auditorium space. As part of the project design, the existing Spa Room was converted to an Art Room. The renovation included new flooring, ceiling, lighting, and millwork cabinetry with sinks, adding function for creative activities in the room. An artwork wall provided space for residents to display their work.
